1. Provision of Assistive Communication Technology
TapTile AAC Ireland ("the Company") provides specialized hardware tablets, laser-cut acrylic keyguards, and cloud-synchronized assistive speech software to non-verbal children, schools, and health care providers across Ireland.
2. Equipment Ownership & Circular 0010/2013 Transferability
Under Department of Education Circular 0010/2013, assistive technology equipment funded via NCSE Form 3 sanctions remains the property of the school authority for the educational benefit of the sanctioned pupil. When a pupil transitions between primary, post-primary, or special school settings, equipment transfers with the student upon notification to the SENO.
3. Software Licensing & Updates
TapTile software is provided under a perpetual educational license per sanctioned tablet, including offline neural voice synthesis, symbol updates, and clinical telemetry sync for the operational life of the device.

1. Zero-Knowledge Offline Telemetry
All spoken phrases and touch-coordinate telemetry recorded on TapTile tablets are processed locally on the physical device. Telemetry transmitted to our central database is pseudonymized, Merkle-tree hashed, and never shared with third-party advertising networks.
2. Data Retention & Erasure
Parents and legal guardians retain the absolute statutory right to request complete data extraction or cryptographic erasure of their child's motor planning and vocabulary telemetry at any time.
